geotechnical monitoring

Multipoint settlement gauges for monitoring ground movement.

Multipoint settlement systems help project teams monitor settlement across embankments, tunnels and civil structures. The system uses one or more hydraulic settlement gauges connected by tubing to a stable reference tank.

Product Overview

Settlement monitoring using single or multiple gauge points

Multipoint settlement systems help project teams monitor settlement at one or more locations across a project area. Each settlement gauge uses a pressure transducer mounted on a plate with a protective cover.

The gauges connect by tubing to a reference tank located on higher, stable ground. Depending on the monitoring requirement, the system can use a single gauge or multiple gauges to track settlement behaviour across embankments, tunnels or other civil structures.

Typical Applications

Where settlement gauges are used

Multipoint settlement systems help project teams monitor settlement across ground, embankments, tunnels and civil structures.

System Architecture

From settlement gauges to usable movement data

A multipoint settlement system should be selected around the monitoring layout, number of gauge points, reference tank location, expected settlement range and data acquisition workflow.
